Lake Sinclair Furniture of Milledgeville, Georgia

H.G. Fowler started making furniture in 1922. He soon decided he wanted to sell furniture rather than build it, so he sold his factory and opened his first retail furniture store in Toomsboro, Ga. He then moved around middle Georgia, settling in Adrian, Ga. and then Swainsboro, Ga. In 1940 his son, Noel Fowler, joined the business. In 1966 Noel Fowler moved Fowler Furniture Company from Swainsboro, Ga. to Milledgeville, Ga.

In 1972 Fowler moved Fowler Furniture from the Milledgeville Town and Country Shopping Center to its current location on US 441 N and renamed the business Lake Sinclair Furniture. In 1987, Judy (Noel Fowler’s daughter) and Jeff Crisp bought into the business. Judy and Jeff operate the business today along with an excellent staff. All are anxious to help with your furniture needs.
